Steve Daniels, Co-President

 Arriving on the Board in 2008, Steve Daniels, 54, currently serves (along with Bonnie Patipa) as one of its two co-presidents. A graduate of Duke University and Washington University (St. Louis) Law School, Steve was the recipient of the prestigious Trial Advocacy Award, bestowed at graduation. Today, Steve is a senior partner and coordinating partner of the West Palm Beach and Boca Raton offices of the Arnstein & Lehr Law Firm.
   Steve has served as president of the Duke University Club of the Palm Beaches as well as the president of the Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches. He is a active supporter of the Anti-Defamation League in Palm Beach County, serving as its chair as well as the chair of its Florida region International Affairs Committee. He is also an ADL National Commissioner.Steve was named as “Dealmaker of 2008” by Florida Trend magazine and, that same year, was named one of the year’s best attorneys by the Daily Business Review.
 He has been recognized repeatedly by the ADL and holds numerous certificates of appreciation from the Palm Beach County Bar Association for his various committee chairmanships.
 Steve was a competitive swimmer in high school and beyond and lists recreational swimming as his most favored activity. He also enjoys bike riding, golf and is an avid reader.
 Steve is married to Attorney Alys Daniels. They have two daughters: Jenna, 22, and Risa, 19. Steve’s father, Milton, lives in West Palm Beach.



Bonnie Patipa, Co-president

 Bonnie Patipa has been serving on the Board since 2007 and in 2009 was elected co-president. She graduated from the University of Miami, majoring in sociology, and received her Master’s in Education there in Recreational Therapy.
 Bonnie worked as a recreational therapist at the VA Hospital in Miami and as a play therapist at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA. She later was a counselor at the TLC Women’s Clinic in Houston, where she also served as acting director. Starting in 1990, Bonnie worked for five years as a counselor at the Presidential Women’s Center in West Palm Beach.
 Bonnie is the author of two coloring books used to explain pediatric medical procedures to children. She has served on the board of Planned Parenthood, Cystic Fibrosis and the Benjamin School, where she headed Project Graduation in 2001. Prior to that, Bonnie also organized fund raising events for the Jewish Community Day Schools.
 She and her husband, Dr. Michael Patipa, are the parents of Leah, who recently graduated from veterinary school and will continue with an internship at UGA; and Elizabeth, who attends St. Thomas Law School.
 Bonnie enjoys fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, weight lifting and is a member of a book club.
