Temple Beth El's Sisterhood, affiliated with Women's League for Conservative Judaism, is composed of dedicated, active women who help fulfill the mission of the chapter. Our mission is to strengthen and unite the women of the synagogue in efforts to perpetuate Conservative/Masorti Judaism in the home, synagogue and community. This is accomplished through a variety of educational and social programs.

Community programs include a "Walk for Food" to feed the hungry. The Torah Fund supports the Jewish Theological Seminary. Our social programs are varied and are designed to fit the interests of the members. Our educational programs include leadership training from Woman's League, Book Reviews, and study groups on Israel and Jewish History. We widely support the needs of the synagogue and the Religious School. We maintain a well stocked Gift Shop.

The Board of Sisterhood meets on the second Monday of each month at the synagogue. We welcome your participation. New women members of Temple Beth El receive a first year complimentary Sisterhood membership. Our motto is "Get Connected, Be Connected, Stay Connected." For more information contact either Co-Presidents, Ruth Padorr (561) 799-0464, or Marcia Schachter (561) 686-1344 for additional information; we'd very much like to Keep Connected.
