We’re not just your
bubbe’s synagogue!
bubbe’s synagogue!
Well, yes we are – but there’s more to Temple Beth El. Our vibrant community reflects the interests of our local West Palm Beach community:
- Business owners and entrepreneurs who want to network with others with similar interests and goals
- Pre-teen girls who are learning important socialization and life skills at our Girl Scout troop
- Young parents who are looking for like-minded families who understand their priorities
- Singles who want to mingle and meet new people and make new friends
- Individuals and couples who are newcomers to West Palm Beach and want to enjoy the culture and experiences South Florida offers
- People who want to continue to learn and grow
- Anyone who wants to be a part of a wider community
- Those who are looking for something more, something different
- And yes – seniors and grandparents who can volunteer and provide the synagogue with essential resources and knowledge
Temple Beth El welcomes all members of the community who share our goal to build relationships and spend time with people who want to be a part of a growing, diverse community.
People come to TBE for our activities and events – then stay because they become a part of our caring, connected community.
Why the younger generation joins
Temple Beth El
Engagement is a word often used for social media – but it’s also a word we use here at Temple Beth El. Young adults care deeply about their community and the future of our world, and want to learn and take actions that make a difference. Young Jewish adults want to join a temple that supports their worldview on topics like social justice and climate change – what they deeply care about – and not just because their parents or grandparents are members.
TBE wants to help and facilitate young Jews to take action. By providing a meeting place and resources, scheduling events and speakers, nurturing leadership and by proclaiming our commitment to Action, Temple Beth El is relevant for young Jews who want to engage and be involved in our local community in South Florida.

Meet Our Team
Our rabbi/cantor, our administrators and our Board of Directors at TBE are on a mission to serve our multi-generational community and provide a variety of programs, services and activities that enhance our members’ lives. Temple Beth El’s goal is to share family lifecycle and social events within this congregation.
