Temple Beth El

“The more we study, the more we discover our ignorance.”
– Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel

Kabbaah teaches that the study of Torah is essential for spiritual growth and that the Divine can be found in all aspects of creation. Mussar teaches that humility and an awareness of our own limitations are necessary for spiritual development.

At Temple Beth El, we embody the teachings of Kabbalah and Mussar by cultivating a vibrant culture of spiritual growth and self-reflection. Through our commitment to the study of Torah, we provide opportunities for our community members to deepen their understanding of Jewish wisdom and connect with the Divine presence in all aspects of life. We recognize that the study of Torah goes beyond intellectual pursuit; it is a transformative practice that nurtures our souls and guides us towards a more meaningful existence.

Tu B’Av

Finally, Tu B’Av, the Jewish day of love, invites us to celebrate and appreciate the beauty of relationships and connections with others.
